Zoom app released on Apple TV

Unexpectedly in the Apple TV app store released Zoom app - for Home TV. It works on Apple TV 4K second generation and newer (that is, at least 2021 release) and works on the same principle as FaceTime, which was added to set-top boxes with the release of tvOS 17.

The app doesn't rely on the TV's built-in camera (which doesn't matter on most models). no), but uses the Continuity Camera feature, which turns your iPhone or iPad into a webcam or microphone. This feature requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17.

Zoom for Apple TV supports video and non-video calling, calendar app integration, and other basic features. You can log in to your account on the TV using your login or via your smartphone.

A similar application for smart TVs on Android and Google TV it turned out on Google Play back in the summer.
