Samsung showed a new indestructible tablet Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, which received both military certification MIL-STD-810H and the more familiar IP68 for protection against dust and moisture.
Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro received a 10.1-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. Inside is an unnamed 8-core processor, previously insiders talked about the Snapdragon 778G. There will be two memory configurations: 4 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB, and in both cases, microSD cards up to 1 TB are supported.
Also on the list of features are a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and Bluetooth 5.2 communication modules, a USB-C port and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The tablet was equipped with a 7,600 mAh battery - and, unlike other Galaxy Tabs, the battery is removable here. True, there will be no additional battery in the kit: you will have to buy it yourself. But in the box there is a shockproof case with which there is even less risk of breaking the device. The case has an S Pen slot, and the full set of tablet, case and stylus will weigh 833g.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro will be available in select European countries in September. Specific regions, release date and cost have not yet been disclosed.
