A new adaptation of the Daredevil comics is coming to Disney+. Screenwriters and part-time executive producers Matt Korman and Chris Ord (both worked on the series Secret Connections) have already been attached to the future series. About it informs Variety, citing an industry source.
The previous series, Daredevil, ran on Netflix until 2018. Due to the nature of the deal, projects involving the character could not be released on other resources - and in 2020, Disney probably did not start work on the project due to the pandemic. Now Matt Murdoch is ready to return to the screens.
It is noted that while the project is at an early stage of development. Marvel has not yet officially announced it, and journalists have no information if Charlie Cox will return to his role, who played the character in the original series, and also appeared in the miniseries The Defenders and the movie Spider-Man: No Way home".
