You can finally sleep with them.
Garmin released the Venu 3 smartwatch, which focuses on personalization and sleep tracking. The company notes that, given the built-in options, they may well pass for a personal trainer.
One of the main functions of the novelty is the detection of daytime sleep. It automatically registers short rest periods and adds them to the Body Battery report.
The device also captures activity and heart rate variability (HRV), so it can rate the user's energy level on a scale of 1 to 100. Based on this information, the recommended sleep time that he needs to get through the next day is determined.
Venu 3 offers many other improvements. For example, the stroller mode, which counts pushes, not steps. In addition, the novelty provides access to extended information about the level of difficulty of the workout and its impact on the user's state. It can even calculate the time needed to recover.
Thus, the watch immerses the user in subjective data, and not just calculates indicators and provides bare numbers.
In technical terms, the Venu 3 almost duplicates its predecessor. Unless the battery life has slightly increased - up to about 14 days (five days with active use). But the OLED screen of the novelty has become smaller - 41 millimeters (against 45 millimeters for Venu 2). They also have a microphone and speaker for calls.
Since the device is also designed for everyday use, it is not as heavy as other Garmin models - it weighs only 46 grams.
Venu 3 is equipped with a stainless steel base and silicone strap (white or black) and already available in the USA, where they cost $450 (≈43,000 rubles). No international release date has been announced yet.
