The world of the future through the eyes of 20th century artists: 20 drawings
Internet / / December 30, 2020
In the middle of the last century, people imagined the future in different ways. However, for the most part, it was associated with the active development of science and robotics, space travel and the inevitable appearance of extraterrestrial life. It was these topics that were most often touched upon by science fiction artists of the 20th century, whose forecasts today look simply amazing. Here are 20 works by various illustrators.

Surprisingly, some of these drawings show the attributes of the modern world, albeit not in the form in which the artists saw them. Here and home cleaning machines, and space stations with habitation modules, and humanoid robots. It is possible that in the near future, in 20, 50 or even 100 years, other forecasts of science fiction writers of the 20th century will also come true.
