Screenshots of the upcoming Chrome redesign appeared on the Web

Some changes will have to be looked for with a magnifying glass.
Google has begun testing Chrome design changes. First time about working on this redesign became known last November, but now appeared visual screenshots of how it will look.
At a cursory glance, the update does not change anything - except for the highlighting color of the design.
In the bookmarks section, it’s already easier to notice the difference: the rounded shapes of Material You appeared here.
So far, the new design can only be enabled in Chrome Canary or regular Chrome beta. To do this, follow the link chrome://flags/#chrome-refresh-2023 and move the switch at the highlighted item to the Enabled position. Restart your browser - and you can look for differences.
It is difficult to call this change large-scale - it is surprising that Google generally hid such minor rearrangements for so long. However, there is always a possibility that this is only a small piece of the upcoming update and you won’t have to look for changes with a magnifying glass before the release.
It's important to remember that these aren't the only Chrome design changes planned for 2023. Also in the plans is a redesigned download manager, dynamic theme change and new radio buttons:
It is not yet known when all these changes and improvements will become available to ordinary users, but Google can count on at least some wow effect only if they release them at the same time. It might be Chrome 111, 112 or later.
