Streaming giant Netflix for the first time uncovered statistics on views of films of its own production. The service has previously named the most popular projects, but only now specific numbers have become available to us - and they are really impressive. Here are the top 10 Netflix original movies by watch over the first 4 weeks of release:

1. Tyler Rake: The Rescue Operation (Extraction) - 99 million;
2. Bird Box - 89 million;
3. Spenser Confidential - $ 85 million;
4. The Phantom Six (6 Underground) - 83 million;
5. Murder Mystery - 73 million;
6. «Irishman"(The Irishman) - 64 million;
7. "Triple Frontier" - 63 million;
8. The Wrong Missy - 59 million;
9. «Platform"(The Platform) - 56 million;
10. The Perfect Date - $ 48 million

It is worth noting that all of these films were released in the last 3 years (most of them within 12 months). In this case, the four most popular belong to the genres of action or thriller. Also, each of them boasts a star name in the cast: Chris Hemsworth, Sandra Bullock, Mark Wahlberg and Ryan Reynolds. It looks like Netflix has a ready-made formula for success - hopefully the service doesn't forget to shoot films in other categories.
