What is the deal?
For example, reading a book. No one is forcing you to read. It's not urgent. But reading can succeed "during the long game."

Why am I all that?

Doing something during the day, you realize that it is a little bit, but it brings you closer to the goals for the year. It is also a great motivation!

How all this put into practice?

All my problems have only three priorities: very important, important (*) and unimportant (!):
And yet I have such a category as "fast case" - things that are running in less than 15 minutes. I do mark their other asterisk:

It is my tab with important matters. Tasks there are sorted as follows:
- very important and fast;
- very important;
- important and fast;
- important.
And I'm just doing the task from top to bottom. What could be simpler?
I try to spend most of their time in this tab.
As you can see, I am not a supporter of a complex system of priorities (from 1 to 100, for example). I'm sure 99% of people with head enough for two or three degrees of importance of the problem.
By the way, similar to all of you can organize and in paper organizer, though I you not I recommend.
Summary
It is not enough just to write down all their affairs. It is not enough to plan them, broken down into smaller subtasks. It is not enough to make them into a rigid system and place reminders.
