All the instructions are written based on Android 6.0.1. Due to the variety of versions of the operating system some of the features or elements of the interface to your gadget may be different or missing. But the general principles for the majority of Android-devices are almost identical.
Mode "Do Not Disturb"
With this mode, you can quickly switch between different profiles receiving notifications. The first is called "Complete silence," it is completely silent profile. The second - "Only Service" - as the name implies, transmits only the alarm signals. And in the third profile - "only important" - you'll hear the alarm sounds and notifications, but only from selected contacts and programs.
Switch between sound profiles, you can use the special keys on the notification bar. Depending on the version of Android on the panel are located either all three buttons with the profile name, or one of them, and the others appear after clicking on the first one.
Near profiles buttons should be displayed link to quickly navigate to the settings. By clicking on it, you can select contacts, and other parameters for the regime "only important". Also in the settings you can set up rules (start and end time, days of the week, etc.), according to which the system will automatically switch profiles.
Thus, the mode of "Do Not Disturb" allows you to instantly adapt to the current circumstances of the smartphone. For example, you have started an important meeting - omit the notifications panel, turn the mode "Complete silence," and participate in the process of peace. And when the rules of the device will be configured to disable itself you notice during normal business hours, and in his free time, on the contrary, will include a notice.

With this feature, you can configure how notifications are displayed on the lock screen. Usually it is under system settings related to notifications.
