The question of the existence of blockers advertising has always been debated and controversial. Yesterday I was a little improved the technical part Overcast, and the work done has become a breath of fresh air and brought a portion of genuine pleasure. I was fully involved in the details of his job and the result was spectacular and it does not bring harm to anyone.

Adblocker appeared with mixed purpose: being useful to millions of people, they also bring damage even to those who do not deserve it. Peace for all ad units are the same, all or nothing - only how it works.

This extension would organically fit into a world where everything is either black or white.

It became clear that such an approach will not do, and if I'm trying to make positive changes in iOS, Peace naive approach is not enough. What is happening with ad-blocking on the Internet, like a war. War with low rates and parties, happy presence of this ideological conflict, a war that is detrimental to both sides. I adhere to the ideology of the Tao Te Ching: conflict should be avoided, and when this is not possible - to fight, but not to glorify yourself and not be proud of it. And despite the fact that I'm a winner in this war, I do not get any pleasure drops. This is the reason why I am leaving this market.

Nevertheless, I still believe in the need for such extension, and believe that Ghostery - the best of them. But I do not want to be the arbiter, which indicates that there will be blocked - it's not worth it. I was lucky that I have the opportunity to withdraw the Peace, and I do not envy those who dare to try their hand at creating such applications. I'm not cut out for this business.

I understand that my decision to withdraw Peace after only two days will be unpopular and did not find a positive response from users. Nevertheless, sooner or later, dissatisfaction will cease, and I will forever get rid of feelings that torment me now.
