The dough is very easy to knead, and it takes only 10 minutes to bake. Flavored cheese biscuits are perfect for tea or for a hearty snack.
Cut the cold butter into small cubes and rub with the flour with your fingers until crumbled together. You can use a food processor or blender.
Add the cheese, zest and herbs grated on a coarse grater. Mix thoroughly.
Pour in cold milk or water and stir quickly to form the crumb into one lump.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Roll the chilled dough into a layer 0.5 centimeters thick and cut out the cookies using a round shape. Place it on a greased baking sheet.
Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
