Books / / December 19, 2019
When I saw this book, I immediately wanted to read it. I like to speak to an audience, and given the fact that in the future I am going to do it more often thought to improve the speaker of skill.
Played a role and that the book "Kamasutra for speaker" published the publishing house "Mann, Ivanov and Ferber". In my mind, long-established view that they do not publish bad :)
About the author of the book, Radislav Gandapas, I do not know anything. But by coincidence, at the moment when I started to read a book from a friend heard that it is quite well-known and successful entrepreneur, speaker and business coach.
I really liked the book. Easy to read. The jokes of the author sometimes laughing out loud. And most importantly, I learned a lot of useful information.
What actually book
In ten chapters, the author covered, perhaps, all aspects of public speaking: how he should stand, how to move around the stage, where should begin to address and how to complete it, how to answer tricky questions as politely put in place "too smart" the listener. One chapter is devoted to the proper operation of the microphone. And this is an important aspect that is often neglected.
And most importantly, reading the "Kama Sutra for speaker", you'll learn how to get from the speech fun!
"It is important not only to master a set of techniques impact on the audience, many learn to enjoy your own public speaking. For all that a person does with pleasure, it makes much more successful. "
At the end of the book - an interesting section: "110 questions and 109 answers". In this section, the author responds to a fairly common questions my readers and students. Very vital questions: how to fall asleep before the performance, if because of the excitement attacked insomnia; how to get rid of dry mouth during speech; What if the day before the speech damaged leg, is it permissible to sit on a chair; act as a girl in front of a male audience at a technical conference to report taken seriously... and a lot more interesting.
For whom the book
For all. For the author of the concept of "public speaking" - a lecture and for two hundred people, and the duty on small toasts family activities.
If you often have to speak to an audience, and you like it, the "Kama Sutra for the speaker," you will find methods that will help you always to achieve performance goals. The goal - it's not necessarily the applause and admiration of the public (rather, it is a nice bonus), and the purpose may be, for example, the sale of the product.
If you have any performance - this agonizing torture, during which you will slowly die of palpitations, dizziness and sweating, the "Kama Sutra for the speaker," you will find training techniques (breathing, physical and psychological exercises) help you reduce excitement. Author helps not to be afraid of failure of performance, and his personal experience makes us believe it. Radislav Gandapas he made his way from the child for whom an attempt to tell the poem, standing on a stool, ended in hysteria, to a brilliant orator. He learned many techniques, but offers the technique worked out for many years studying the skills of many successful speakers.
"It is important to understand that after the disastrous performance of the life does not stop. Neither the whole of humanity, not your own. The universe does not shrink to the size of moonshine. Planets do not stop the run. Volga not promazhet by the Caspian Sea. NTV will not stop broadcasting. Count Dracula does not rise up from hell to drag you along. Or even hours at the Eternal Flame not iknet! Nothing will happen!!! It even hurt... "
If you do not need to speak to an audience, you can still read the book, at least for the sake of the overall development and enjoyment. Almost every chapter the author tells an interesting story from personal experience, for example, about how he stopped the fight a few words. In addition, the "Kamasutra for speaker" will simply improve communication skills: there are chips that are applicable not only to a large audience, but to the individual in a personal conversation.
During the reading of the book there is a strong desire to soon try all the suggested tips into practice. I look forward to when I will have the opportunity to make a speech before an audience, and the "Kamasutra for speaker" took rightful place in my personal library, and I think it will be virtually required reading in moments of preparation for the performances.
