This distance course is designed to train teachers and teachers in the use of mobile technologies in professional activities, which increases efficiency and optimizes the learning process and meets modern social order.
Seminars and lectures are conducted online through the webinar.ru platform. Feedback from tutors is provided via chat on the Moodle platform. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to create your own learning resources and activities based on mobile technologies.
You will gain skills in working with: mobile reference applications (dictionaries, encyclopedias, translators); mobile communication applications (mail, calendar and other Google tools, social networks, blogs, e-books); mobile online exercises (Student Response Systems (SRS), quick response exercises, mobile quizzes, mobile polls); mobile multimedia tools (podcasts, voice recorder, camera); mobile applications in project activities.

During the course of the program you will learn:
• methods of using mobile technologies in the context of traditional teaching of foreign languages;
• didactic functions and properties of mobile applications;
• typologies of educational and applied applications
• criteria for selection and evaluation of educational applications
• foreign and Russian experience in integrating MP into the process of teaching a foreign language
You will learn:
• assess the methodological value of MP for the formation and development of language skills, speech skills and sociocultural competence
students
• use MP to develop a custom corpus of educational tasks
• create your own mobile class on learningapps or quizlet
• design multimedia and interactive task formats based on MP
• record your own screencasts and podcasts
• create project assignments based on MP (digital storytelling)
• evaluate and control the assimilation of material using MP
• use open mobile reference resources both for designing tasks and for your own professional growth
• visualize educational material using interactive presentations, video casts, mental maps, etc.
