From scratch to the first projects in 3Ds Max in 8 weeks under the guidance of certified teachers with feedback
Module 0 - Pre-training

Module 1
Blocks:
• Module introduction
• Program installation
• Familiarity with the interface and primitives
• Working with Editable Poly
• Doing exercises
• Choosing a task for a thesis
Results:
• Install programs correctly
• Let's learn how to create a stool, table, bowl, cup and neon sign
• Let's create an unusual 3D model from scratch using the Editable Poly modifier
• We will choose an assignment for the future graduation project
Module 2
Blocks:
• Module introduction
• Working with different types of references
• Lecture on time management
• Working with space: building walls, windows, doors, floors and ceilings
• Mastering Corona tools
• Render (camera, light, interactive scene)
• Preview image of home interior
Results:
• We will understand the spaces of your home interior, a 3D model of this space
• We will gain knowledge about the primary construction of premises in 3Ds Max
• We will create a home interior space from scratch and make a preview image of it.
• As a bonus, we will listen to a lecture on time management from the teacher
Module 3
Blocks:
• Working with imports and furniture: modeling and modification
• Library of models and materials for future projects
• Working with light indoors: importing importing lamps and their placement
• Competent framing: Camera settings, frame analysis
• First render in rewriting materials
• Render in re-recording of class and homework materials
Results:
• Knowledge of competent import, arrangement of furniture, light and frame in the interior
• We’ll put furniture in ours and the cool interior, put cameras in both interiors and make several renderings of these interiors using re-recorded materials
Module 4
Blocks:
• Module introduction
• Materials
• Websites with textures
• Maps and modifiers for textures
• Materials and textures in your own interior scene
Results:
• We will study in detail materials, texture maps and tools for interacting with them
• Then we will apply the acquired knowledge in our interior, we will apply materials and textures
Module 5
Blocks:
• Debriefing: preparation for rendering, errors when positioning the camera and light, analysis of dark and light renders
• Render elements: what are they and which ones are used most often?
• Bonus about render farms
• Exercise in which we will consider the result “Before” - “After”
• Post-processing
• Adobe Photoshop for interior
• Diploma work on interior design
Results:
• We complete interior visualization, analyzing and correcting errors in our interiors
• We make final beautiful renderings of home and classroom interiors and submit them as a thesis, collecting everything into a beautiful presentation
Module 6
Blocks:
• Transferring the house model to the stage
• Exterior scene collection
• Filling the scene with exterior objects
• “Atmospheric” additions
• Exterior lighting
• Bonus: transferring a model from Revit to 3Ds Max
Results:
• Let's study the influence of environmental objects on the composition of an exterior scene
• Consider the effect of ambient light on an exterior scene and the differences in light between interior and exterior
• Let's look at lighting the scene using a new tool - HDRI maps
• Let's start working with the reference you have chosen, see how the interior space is created and what rules must be followed in its construction
• Homework will be to build your interior space and preview its rendering
• The result of the module will be an understanding of the space of your home interior, a 3D model of this space and knowledge of the primary construction of premises in 3Ds Max
Bonus Module 7

• New tools for working with multiple objects - Corona CScatter and Corona CProxy
• Arrangement of vegetation on stage
• Creation of lawn and ground material
• Exterior camera
• Adding final touches to the scene

The last module is Review day.

Thank you very much! A very interesting course, and most importantly understandable. 3d MAKS was a scary program for me up to this point, but now everything is clear, even a familiar program. It turns out it’s not as complicated as it seemed.
