Texturing is a stage of 3D modeling during which you create materials and paint the model, giving it a finished look. The main advantage of the method of creating textures procedurally is the speed of work. It is simply impossible to texture the same volume and in the same quality using another traditional method. In this course you will learn how to create expressive procedural textures and customize them down to the smallest detail. The knowledge you will gain in the course will be useful when texturing game levels, environments and various game assets - weapons, clothing items and props.

Also, Substance Painter lessons will help you create wallpaper, paint, wood, brick, paving stones and use them for texturing.

Marmoset
You will find out why the Marmoset program is needed, and learn how to work with lighting, camera and material presentation. This knowledge will be useful for creating a portfolio.
Unreal Engine
You will learn how materials work in game engines using the example of Unreal Engine 4. You will learn how to import textures into the engine, create and customize materials using the built-in node editor.
