Enterprise Architect software, available from Sparx Systems, is a convenient tool for building models during the software design process. This product supports a large number of different notations for building models, but the course discusses only one of them - UML (Unified Modeling language).
Working with UML diagrams is studied through practical exercises, each of which is devoted to the construction of one of the types of diagrams within a single project. The skills in working with Enterprise Architect acquired during the course will be useful when mastering other notations supported by the product.
In practical exercises, the version of Enterprise Architect that is most current at the time of the course is used.
