Problems also arise during successful installation.
New Windows 11 update leads to computer malfunctions. Users complain that it even breaks games.
We are talking about a major patch KB5031455, a preliminary version of which Microsoft began rolling out a few days ago. It includes AI assistant Copilot, built-in archive unpacker and much more.
However, the update either does not install, or the download fails and you have to start over. Some also experience error messages at various stages. As a result, PC performance decreases.
In some cases, the system can be updated, but then the computer reboots again and starts restarting the software. After several such reboots, it takes a long time to recover.
The bug also affects games. Gamers are complaining that the system is throwing away their Fortnite, Horizon Zero Dawn and other video games. After this, it is impossible to start them again.
Windows Latest tests have shown that the update downloads but then stops during installation attempts. It is impossible to influence the situation. Microsoft has not yet responded to this problem.
