LEGO showed a Dune set: with an ornithopter and a long Vladimir Harkonnen

LEGO presented 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter set inspired by "Dune» Denis Villeneuve. As the name suggests, this is an Atreides ornithopter model.

The model consists of 1369 parts. Its most impressive feature was its mechanical wings, capable of simulating the flapping or humming of the craft's eight wings. The chassis is also mechanical: they can be extended and retracted into the body. The model itself is quite large: the length from the cockpit to the tail is 56 cm, the wingspan is 80 cm.

In addition to the ornithopter, the set includes eight figures with characters from the film. These are Paul Atreides, Chani, Jessica and Leto Atreides, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (with a very long body), Gurney Halleck, Dr. Lieth Kynes and Duncan Idaho.

The set was valued at 165 dollars (≈15,400 rubles) or 165 euros (≈16,300 dollars). It will go on sale on February 1, 2024.
