Chicken meatballs with teriyaki sauce

Chicken meatballs with teriyaki sauce are very soft and juicy with ginger notes in taste. You can serve the dish with rice, noodles or vegetables.

Ingredients
- Onions ¹⁄₂ pieces
- Fresh ginger small piece
- Minced chicken 350 g
- Yolk 1 piece
- Potato starch 4¹⁄₃ tbsp spoons
- Salt ¹⁄₄ tsp spoons
- Mirin 2 tbsp. spoons
- Soy sauce 2 tbsp spoons
- Sugar 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Water 3 tbsp. spoons
- Vegetable oil 2 tsp spoons
- Sesame to taste

Chop the onion, grate the ginger on a fine grater. Stir in minced meat, yolk, 4 tablespoons of starch and salt.
Fresh ginger can be replaced with dry ginger. A ¹⁄₂ teaspoon will suffice.

Blind small meatballs from the resulting mass.
To prevent the mass from sticking to your hands, moisten them with water or oil.

Combine mirin, soy sauce, sugar, water and remaining starch. You will have teriyaki sauce.
Mirin can be replaced with white wine.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for 3-4 minutes on each side, add the sauce and cook for a couple more minutes.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
