Finally an interesting design, but with curved display glass.
After a series of rumors and teasers, Xiaomi is officially confirmed the imminent launch of the Redmi Note 13 series, which will include Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+. The presentation of new products will take place on September 21.
The company has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be the first Redmi Note series phone to feature a curved screen, ultra-narrow bezels and a subtle bezel measuring just 2.37mm wide. It will be protected by Corning's flagship Gorilla Victus glass.
The teasers also confirmed a triple rear camera setup with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor with f/1.65 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS).
The back cover of the smartphone will receive an original leather-like coating. Also mentioned is an IR blaster on the top, stereo speakers, and no 3.5mm audio jack.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be the first phone to use a custom Dimensity 7200-Ultra chip, developed in close collaboration with MediaTek.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro will also have a 200-megapixel camera, but OIS is not mentioned and this model does not seem to have a leather version. Instead - classic glass.
As for the displays, both smartphones will have a 6.67″ diagonal and an AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Redmi Note 13 Pro has a 5,120 mAh battery with 67 W charging, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will have a 5,000 mAh battery with 120 W charging.
We expect more details at the presentation next week.
