What is hair nanoplasty?
Hair nanoplasty is one of the ways to achieve perfect hair smoothness. Due to the absence of formaldehyde, it is considered a gentler alternative to keratin straightening. Therefore, this procedure can be done even for allergy sufferers, pregnant and feeding. Especially if they have porous hair.
How is nanoplasty different from keratin straightening?
During keratin straightening a composition with proteins, for example, from sheep's wool, and formaldehyde, a toxic substance with a pungent odor, is applied to the hair. And then the strands are heated with an iron. Due to this, the protein from the product forms chemical bonds with the proteins of the hair and, as it were, is built into them. In addition to these two components, all sorts of useful substances can also be added to the compositions, but you definitely cannot do without this pair.
However, high doses of formaldehyde harm light, reduce hemoglobin, disrupt the menstrual cycle, plant immunity and can cause cancer.
But the means for nanoplastics have a more modern composition, so it does not harm health. There is no formaldehyde, but there are proteins, nourishing oils, silicones and other substances that allow you to smooth the scales and achieve a mirror effect.
Does Nanoplasty Really Treat Hair?
Manufacturers often write about the healing effect of the procedure, but this is not entirely true.

Manufacturers are cunning when they talk about the therapeutic effect. It's more of a skin care routine though. If your hair is split, then the proteins and oils that are included in the nanoplastic products will stick the scales together, so visually the hair will appear more well-groomed. But after washing out the composition, everything will return to its original state.
Is there a difference between different types of nanoplastics?
The difference between the compositions is not very noticeable. You just need to choose products from a manufacturer with a good reputation, which the salon purchased from an authorized distributor. In this case, you will be equally pleased with the result. But there is a difference in how the procedure is carried out.

Usually, to fix the composition on the hair, masters use irons or curling irons. But, in my opinion, this is still not good for hair: it turns out that they are coated with oil and heated at a temperature of 180–200 ºC. In general, I am opposed to any care in which a curling iron is used.
Fortunately, there are now ultrasonic irons that are not so aggressive on the hair. Another option is a special hair dryer that looks like a hair cap. It does not touch the skin and hair, but raises the temperature of the air around them, so it also injures less ironing.
Should I do hair nanoplasty?
Nanoplasty is worth spending money on if you want smoother, straighter hair with a healthy sheen. The more porous your hair, the more noticeable the result will be.

Nanoplasty works best on fluffy porous hair, as well as damaged by dyeing, styling or perm. Healthy natural hair probably won't need it. Perhaps just to straighten naturally curly, porous hair to make it look smoother.
Is it possible to do nanoplasty at home?
Not worth it. Now there are compositions for the home, but since the procedure is still serious, it is better not to try to carry it out yourself. For example, in order not to burn the hair flat iron.
