Dasung Paperlike Color, the first E-Ink color monitor introduced
Miscellaneous / / August 03, 2023
The Chinese company Dasung has announced a Paperlike Color monitor with a 25.3-inch Kaleido 3 e-ink color screen.
The display has a 16:9 ratio, 3K resolution (3200 × 1800 pixels) and displays 4096 shades of colors. To increase the contrast and clarity of the text, Dasung X-Color Filter technology is used - it should make reading from such a screen more comfortable. It also supports Turbo High Refresh Rate technology, which smoothes transitions and prevents afterimages. The backlight is adjustable in brightness and temperature.
To connect to a computer, there are HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C connectors. MiraCast and AirPlay for wireless streaming are also supported. Built-in stereo speakers are responsible for sound output.
The monitor will be offered in two versions: a standard black Dark Knight Edition monitor and a gray curved Curved Screen Edition (4000R curved). Apart from color and curvature, there are no differences between the versions.
