Best iPhone Photos: iPhone Photography Awards 2023 Winners Announced

The winners of the 16th annual iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) have been announced. This is an international competition for photos taken with Apple smartphones or tablets.
This year's Grand Prix went to Ivan Silva from Mexico. He made a triumphant shot called “Hero” on his iPhone 12 Pro Max.
First place Photographer of the Year went to Thea Mihu from Germany and her image "Soy Sauce Village"
Silver in the same nomination was awarded to Sasha Borozan from Bosnia and Herzegovina for his photograph Taming the Waves.
Bronze went to American Derek Hager for "Morning in Tucson".

Children: Sofia Ershova (USA)
Cityscape: Jinson Hu (China)
Landscape: Ton Ensing (Netherlands)
Lifestyle: Shusen Jia (China)
Nature: Scott Galloway (USA)
Other: Tao Fan (USA)
People: Daniel Heilig (Germany)
Portrait: Ramazan Chirakoglu (Türkiye)
Still Life: Robert Lee (Indonesia)
Travel: Long Nguyen (France)
The organizers of the competition noted that the leader among smartphones was the iPhone 12 Pro Max. In some nominations, even the iPhone 11, iPhone X and iPhone 7/7 Plus won. But the pictures on the iPad this year did not take a single leading position.
