Mini-games coming to YouTube

After of death Google's Stadia project appears to be planning another gaming initiative. By data The Wall Street Journal, the search giant, is about to bring simple online games directly to YouTube.
This innovation is called Playables. The games will be available from the YouTube app and website on mobile and desktop, the source said.
So far, only the classic Arkanoid Stack Bounce is mentioned among the games, where players will break layers of blocks with a bouncing ball. The arcade is currently undergoing internal testing among employees.
The WSJ describes this initiative by Google as "the desire to find new areas of growth after the fall in advertising spending." Asked to comment on the rumors, Google said:
Games have long been in the spotlight of YouTube. We're always experimenting with new features, but right now we don't have anything to announce.

The company also plans to launch the Google Play Games PC client. But the release dates here are also rather vague.
