Windows 10 update causing blue screen of death

In early May, Microsoft released update KB5026361 for Windows 10. The patch fixes a number of security vulnerabilities in the system, but in some cases causes new problems.
According to messages on the forums, on some computers after the update, the blue "screen of death" periodically appears. The errors are either related to the FltMgr.sys filter manager driver or corrupted bootcat.cache. The second issue previously appeared in Windows 7.
Many users have been helped by uninstalling the latest Windows update patch. To do this, go to Settings → Update & Security → View update history → Uninstall updates. Find KB5026361 in the list and select Uninstall from the context menu. Also worth disable auto-updates, otherwise the patch will return.
This is not the only issue related to the update. Some users also appears error 0x800f0922 during installation, there are reports of hovering at the stage of password entry and spontaneous reboot computer.
Microsoft has not yet confirmed the existence of these problems, so it's too early to talk about a fix.
