1. Emergency Search

When: June 1-18, 2023.

Every year in Russia is lost 200 thousand people. To find them, volunteers combing forests and streets, distribute orientations, call hospitals. But you can make the search even more effective with the help of an unmanned aerial system. It is on it that the participants of the hackathon will have to work.

The competition is held by the NTI Foundation together with the LizaAlert search and rescue team. Several stages are envisaged. The first step is to develop a program that will search for people using photos taken from drones. The best teams will advance to the second stage and the final, where they will be provided with an aircraft. The result should be a comprehensive solution that will allow you to find people in a sparsely populated area on the territory of 0.5 km² in 30 minutes. The prize fund of the first stage is 5 million rubles, and the total prize fund of the competition is 100 million.

2. Arctek engineering

When: April - November 2023.
Where: online and offline.
Registration: until June 8th.

Contest directed to search for technological solutions for the development of the Arctic regions of Russia. The teams will work on tasks from partners: Rosatom, Norilsk Nickel, Sovcomflot, Novatek and Medsi. For example, you can develop an algorithm for creating a route when swimming in ice. Or find a solution for a telemedicine complex that will be used in feldsher-obstetric stations in remote villages and villages.

You can participate in the competition online, but the final will be held on November 24 in person. Authors of the best ideas will be offered grants to refine and test solutions.

3. Digital breakthrough

When: May - November 2023.
Where: online and offline in Russian cities.

The new season of the Digital Breakthrough project is dedicated to artificial intelligence. Participants are waiting for district hackathons in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Sochi, Perm and Stavropol. And in the autumn one all-Russian and one international competitions are planned. If you live in a city that is not on the list, it still costs apply Teams can participate remotely.

The first hackathon will be held in Moscow. The teams will work on an algorithm that predicts the interaction between VK users, train the neural network to recognize subspecies of swans from a photo, develop a model for predicting violations in the functioning of IT programs and solve other tasks. The second hackathon will be held in June in Yekaterinburg. Registration will begin on project website.

4. Sibur Challenge 2023

When: May 20 - June 7, 2023.

Sibur Challenge is online championship for data analysis. It is waiting for data scientists and other specialists who are engaged in machine learning. Participants will have to solve real problems for a petrochemical company and build a model of their choice:

• to recognize one of the four operations performed when unloading tanks;
• to predict the quantity of two products depending on the type of raw material and the parameters of the production process.

The six teams that come up with the best solutions will share the prize of 1 million rubles. And the brightest participants can be invited for an internship or work at Sibur Digital.

5. Sovcombank Team Challenge 2023

When: May 22 - June 1, 2023.
Where: online.
Registration: until May 21st.

The process of hiring a qualified employee It may take from several weeks to months. A recruiter needs to look through hundreds of resumes, schedule an interview, and conduct tests. But many processes can be performed by the program, for example, transferring data from a resume to the company's database automatically, rather than manually.

Creation of a platform that will simplify the selection of a candidate at different stages, will be engaged participants in this hackathon. It is waiting for front-end and back-end developers, product managers, analysts and other IT professionals. The authors of the three best projects will receive money for their development. The total prize fund of the competition is 1 million rubles.

6. Leaders in Digital Transformation

When: May - June 2023.
Where: online; face-to-face final in Moscow.
Registration: until May 21st.

Participants will develop digital solution of 1 out of 21 tasks from the Moscow administration and representatives of large businesses. For example, a team may propose a project for a smart corporate assistant to solve business problems. Another option is to create a model for building optimal collection routes for payment terminals. Ideas affect different areas - from e-commerce and industry to housing and communal services and the social sphere.

Submit your idea for a solution by May 28. Technical experts will analyze the projects and select 10 teams for each problem, which will meet in the final in Moscow. The authors of the top three ideas in each category will receive money for their development. The total prize fund is 42 million rubles.
