It's time to confess: exercises and a massage roller will not save anyone from cellulite

Today we will talk about an easy and cheap way to get rid of cellulite, which, alas, does not work. Yes, we ourselves advised you once massage roller exercises. But we don't want you to continue to rely on ineffective methods, and here's why.
Doing cellulite exercises sounds very logical
Even though cellulite appears in 85% of women after 20 years, for some reason it is considered a cosmetic defect that needs to be corrected.
At the same time, scientists still do not know exactly where the “orange peel” comes from. Among the possible reasons called:
- an increase in the size of fat cells;
- violation of microcirculation of blood and lymph, accumulation of fluid in adipose tissue;
- fibrosis - proliferation of connective tissue around fat cells;
- an increase in the level of the hormone estrogen, which can provoke blood stasis and swelling.
Scientists and doctors also agree that the factors that provoke cellulite include an improper diet with an excess of calories, fats, salt and sugar and a sedentary lifestyle.
It is reasonable to assume that exercise and massage help get rid of the "orange peel", because both improve blood circulation. And you can do all this at home - painlessly and for free. But it's a little more complicated.
There is no magic pill
Physical exercise is not completely useless - in fact, they are often recommended as a means to reduce cellulite. By exercising regularly, you can change the composition of the body - reduce body fat and increase muscle mass. Due to this "orange peel" will become less noticeable.
But we must understand that we are not talking about some magical exercises or light home workouts a couple of times a week.
To change the composition of the body and maintain the result, you need to exercise regularly and quite intensively.
Ideally, integrate three or four sessions into your schedule and make them part of your normal life, and not a means to achieve smooth thighs.
It should be borne in mind that training alone to reduce adipose tissue, most likely, will not be enough. You have to change your diet. And even if you lose weight and build muscle, there is no guarantee that cellulite will go away.
As for massage with a roller, this is a wonderful way. to warm pre-workout muscles, increase range of motion, and stretch tight muscles after exercise. However, such an impact will not be enough to cope with fibrosis, disrupt the integrity of swollen fat cells, or improve skin tone.
Here's what to try instead of exercise and a massage roller
Most Effective recognized the following methods:
- shock wave therapy — exposure to high-amplitude acoustic waves;
- laser therapy – minimally invasive therapy with the introduction of a small cannula under the skin and laser exposure;
- cellfina™ technique - the use of vacuum, followed by cutting of fibrous septa.
But keep in mind: despite the effectiveness of the procedures, no one guarantees that after some time the cosmetic defect will not appear again.
