Big, thin and light. We wait?
According to renowned analyst Ross Young, Apple works over the new 15.5-inch MacBook Air. The production of screen panels will start in the first quarter of 2023, and the laptop itself may be presented in the coming spring.
The 15.5-inch MacBook Air will be somewhere in between the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. At the same time, in the Air line, it will be the largest solution to date.
According to rumors, the novelty will have the same design as the 13-inch MacBook Air, inreleased in 2022 - with flat edges, a large Force Touch trackpad, a keyboard with function keys, a notch and much more. It will also likely include a MagSafe charging port, an upgraded speaker system, and a 1080p camera.
In terms of hardware, the new Air may be available with M2 and M2 Pro chip options, but unlike the MacBook Pro, it probably won't get a miniLED screen, and the port selection will be more modest.
Note that such rumors appear far from the first time. The sources have only a slightly different diagonal, but the essence is the same - a large, thin and light Air will soon appear.
