Nokia has released the Streaming Box 8010, an updated version of its Streaming Box 8000 set-top box. The novelty received twice as much RAM and 4 times as much built-in memory: here 4/32 GB instead of 2/8 GB from its predecessor. There is also a more powerful processor - 4-core Amlogic S905X4-K.
The set-top box can output content in 4K @ 60 fps and supports Dolby Atmos. Wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6, and the TV connects via HDMI, USB-C or AV. The set-top box can be connected to the Internet via Ethernet, there is a pair of USB-A to connect accessories.
The device runs on Android TV 11, so in addition to pre-installed applications, you can download any others.
The box comes with a remote control with backlit keys and microphones for using the Google Assistant. The remote is powered by a pair of AAA batteries (included).
Nokia Streaming Box 8010 was priced at 129 euros (≈8,100 rubles), it has already gone on sale in Germany and should soon appear in other European countries. At the same time, the Streaming Box 8000 remains on sale at a price of 70 euros (≈4,400 rubles).
