Apple may introduce more expensive iPhone Ultra in 2024

Apple is exploring the possibility of releasing a more expensive iPhone Ultra along with the classic iPhone Pro and Pro Max models. informs Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. This device may appear as early as 2024 along with the iPhone 16 line.

Last September, Gurman predicted that the Ultra could replace the Pro Max in the iPhone 15 series. this year, but now an insider writes that Apple wants to create a more powerful and more expensive level iPhone. This means the device will be priced higher than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which now starts at $1,099.

During Apple's announcement of financial results last week, CEO Tim Cook did not rule out the possibility of higher prices for the iPhone in the future. He pointed out that customers may be willing to pay more to get a better product. “The iPhone has become an integral part of people's lives. I think people are willing to spend money to get the best they can afford in this category,” said Cook.

While it's still unclear what features the Ultra device might have, Gurman believes the gadget will offer an even cooler camera, faster chip, and possibly a larger display. It could also have a concept design without a charging port (wireless only) and physical volume buttons (which will be replaced by touch elements).
