Android 14 adds LED flash notifications - just like on the iPhone

Google has released the second developer preview of Android 14. In her discovered several interesting innovations, including two options for notifications. The first allows you to activate the double flash of the smartphone flash during new events (message, incoming call, and so on).

Constant blinking until the notification is swiped is not yet provided - only two short pulses per event.

The second option allows you to highlight the smartphone screen with a color filter. It will be superimposed on the open application in a translucent mode. The color itself can be chosen.

Both options are available in the system settings item “Special. possibilities". New beta Android 14 is now available for all Google smartphones from Pixel 4a 5G and up. A full release is expected in the fall.
