Huawei showed the Mate 50 line, which included three models at once: Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS. All of them work on the new HarmonyOS 3. They are similar in design to last year's Mate 40s with a massive round camera module on the back (albeit now without a hole in the center), but there are improvements inside. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main module, a 13MP wide-angle Sony IMX688 and a 12MP periscope with 5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
The 4460mAh battery supports fast wired charging up to 66W, wireless up to 50W and reverse up to 7.5W. The case is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard. There is NFC for contactless payment and the ability to send emergency messages via Beidou where conventional communication does not catch.
