And one of the most popular episodes, of course, is about the library. Here he is:
Do not forget that Leonid Gaidai is a director with a great sense of humor. In the previous short story "Obsession", the main character Shurik leaves the library, and the viewer is briefly shown the work schedule of the institution.
Yes, in the world of this film, the library is open at exactly 3 am. So the hero of George Vitsin is not so stupid.
3. How the director of "Solstice" spoiled the plot
The second feature film directed by Ari Aster was released in 2019. This horror surprised the audience with an unusual presentation and theme. Here, all the action takes place in the light of day, although in horrors it is usually dark. Plot twists are almost impossible to predict.
Although it was with the latter that Aster managed very witty. «Solstice” begins with a beautiful canvas in folklore style. And this picture shows all the main turns, up to the final.
But you can understand this only if you watch "Solstice" a second time. Or if someone has a clue.
4. Why did the color of the car change in The Shining?
Screen adaptation of the famous novel Stephen King from director Stanley Kubrick caused a lot of controversy. Some fans of the writer, and the author himself, were dissatisfied with the changes in the plot and the very idea of \u200b\u200bthe work. However, Kubrick's fans later suggested that he hid the answer to the dissatisfied in the picture itself.
In the original novel, the protagonist and his family drive to the hotel in a red Volkswagen Beetle (we know it simply as the "Beetle"). In the film, the car is the same model, but yellow.
One would think that the director simply did not find the right props. But, firstly, movie lovers know how Cockpit was attentive to details. And secondly, there is an interesting scene in the middle of the screen "The Shining".
Hotel worker Dick Halloran goes to help the heroes. He is driving on a snowy road and sees an accident: a truck crushed a red Beetle. That is, the director seemed to hint to the writer that he got rid of his characters and came up with new ones.
5. How are Blade Runner and The Shining related?
And one more interesting fact related to the Kubrick painting. Movie Ridley Scott Blade Runner has been remade several times. For example, after test screenings, the studio forced the director to shoot a more positive ending.
For a new ending, footage of a mountain road was needed, and the author turned to Kubrick. He gave him a huge amount of materials that he created for the first scene of The Shining. They became the ending of Scott's film.

The thing is that the authors of the Back to the Future franchise collected props from studios for a futuristic picture. They just borrowed some of the cars from other movies, so good things don't go to waste.
7. What is the name of the general in "Peculiarities of the National Hunt"

Addressing the military, the hero of Sergei Kupriyanov says: "On the hunt for General Buldakov." That's just Buldakov - the name of the actor, not the character. This is, of course, the purest film blunder, but very funny.
8. What do Desperate Shareholders and Pulp Fiction have in common?
It is probably strange to see mediocre in the list of famous films Russian comedy 2022. But in this moment, it seems, an important problem of domestic cinema is noticeable.
"Desperate Shareholders" tells about two married couples who kidnap a developer who deceived them. Most of the time the characters just drink and insult each other. But there is one curious scene in the picture. The character of Mikhail Trukhin, angry, is going to kill the hostage and is looking for a suitable weapon. This moment is a clear reference to Pulp Fiction. The hero of Bruce Willis picked up a tool for revenge in the same way. Even the angles match.
It's a little sad that a director who makes such interesting references makes such mediocre stories.

It has long been no secret that the famous American director adds many subtle details to his films. Some of them even combine works Tarantino into some movie universe. For example, he has a fictional Red Apple cigarette brand and a Big Kahuna Burger eatery.
But even more interesting Tarantino treats the characters. It turns out that many of the characters in his films are relatives. So, Vince Vega, played by John Travolta from Pulp Fiction, is the brother of Vic Vega, played by Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs. Initially, Tarantino wanted the same character in both films. But Madsen was busy, so another actor was invited to Pulp Fiction. Then there were rumors for a long time that the director would release a separate movie about the brothers.
And in The Hateful Eight, Tim Roth played the role of Pete Hickox. This character is the great-great-grandfather of Archie Hickox from Inglourious Basterds, played by Michael Fassbender.
But most unusual of all Tarantino showed the characters of Uma Thurman. In Pulp Fiction, she played an unsuccessful TV series actress. During a meeting with Vince, the heroine talks about the pilot release of the project, which showed a group of female killers. And her story is very reminiscent of the plot basis in the film "Kill Bill", where the main role was played by the same Uma Thurman. That is, it turns out that this is the same series inside Pulp Fiction.

Perhaps someone does not know, but this picture of Quentin Tarantino is a remake of the film "Django" in 1966. True, the director did not just reshoot the same story, but added a theme to the plot segregation.
At the same time, there is a funny reference to the original in the picture. In one scene, Django, played by Jamie Foxx, is approached by a man in a cowboy hat. He asks the hero what his name is, and then asks him to spell his name. Django complies with the request, explaining that the word Django doesn't have a D. He replies: "I know."
The irony is that Franco Nero is playing a stranger - the performer of the role of Django in the classic film. Therefore, he knows exactly how to pronounce this name.
12. What Unwittingly Gets into the Frame in David Lynch's Dune
Finally, just a funny moment from the classics of cinema. Take a closer look at the Navigator's appearance scene in Lynch's Dune. Or rather, to the retinue on the left side of the screen.
