For those who like superheroes more than fantasy.
The new company Second Dinner, founded by the former head of Hearthstone Ben Brod, has announced its first game - shareware card Marvel Snap. Judging by the first trailer, the mechanics of the game will strongly resemble Hearthstone.
It is noted that the action of each game will unfold on three randomly selected maps from 50 available. Players need to collect "space cubes", and at the end of the match, they can put all their cubes on the line for a chance to double their number. This mechanic is called Snap.
Over 150 Marvel hero and villain base cards will be available at release, including various designs from various artists. Each month, as new seasons are released, more cards will be added to the game, and each of them will be get for in-game currency without spending real money (although buying it to speed up the process will also possibly).
There is no exact list of characters yet, but the trailer showed Iron Man, Captain America, Shang-chi, Scarlet Witch, Magik, Spiderman, Ghost Rider, Captain Marvel, Professor X, Gamora, Hulk, Mysterio, Venom, Kang the Conqueror and more heroes. As a result, even the starting line-up sounds impressive.
Marvel Snap will first be released on mobile platforms, but will later be available on PC. There are no details on a release date yet, but it is reported that the game will be released soon.
