In April, the authorities announced a new benefit for low-income families. You can apply for it if the average per capita income per family member is below the subsistence level. Depending on income, you can receive from 50 to 100% of the child's subsistence minimum monthly. We talked about this and other benefits in more detail in separate material.

For the identification of the USSR and Nazi Germany will be punished under the Code of Administrative Offenses

The law came into force on April 27 and in the selection last month's changes missed. So it's worth mentioning it in the May digest.

Chapter 13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses supplementedFederal Law No. 103-FZ of April 16, 2022 “On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation” article 13.48. It implies responsibility for the public identification of the USSR and Nazi Germany. This applies to:

• goals;
• decisions and actions of the leadership, command and military personnel.

They can also be punished for denying "the decisive role of the Soviet people in the defeat of Nazi Germany and the humanitarian mission of the USSR in the liberation of the countries of Europe."

The word "public" in the wording is important. Responsibility is provided if "sedition" is uttered in front of a mass audience, distributed through the media or on the Internet. That is, if you write something questionable in a chat for 100 people, it may be considered an offense. And personal correspondence still remains so.

For violation, you can get a fine of 1-2 thousand rubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days. For officials, the fine will be 2-4 thousand rubles, for legal entities - 10-50 thousand. In the case of a second case, you will have to pay a little more. Officials can also run into a temporary disqualification, and legal entities can be suspended.

You can import more purchases from abroad without duty

From May 1, preferential mortgages can be issued at a rate of 9%

Since 2020, Russia has had a program of concessional lending. Within its framework, an apartment in a new building could first be bought at 6.5% per annum, then at 7%, and later - after raising the key rate to 20% - 12%. Banks will write off lump sum payments against the loan only after agreement
