6 effective DIY cleaning products

Homemade blends from available ingredients are ideal for treating a wide variety of stains and stains.
When making and using household cleaning products, it is important to follow one rule: before mixing anything, be sure to study the composition of the ready-made solutions and the properties of the individual components. 1. Universal cleaning agent
What you need:
- white vinegar;
- water;
- lemon zest;
- sprig of rosemary.
Mix water and white vinegar in a 1: 1 ratio. Pour the resulting mixture into a spray bottle, add the rest of the ingredients, shake well and let it brew for a week.
This product is perfect for removing water stains, freshening up the trash can, getting rid of stains on the walls and much more. All thanks to the lemon peel, which not only gives a pleasant smell, but also improves the effectiveness of the product. The main thing is not to use the mixture on granite surfaces, otherwise the stone may tarnish.
2. Refreshing Kitchen Cleaner
What you need:
- 4 tablespoons of baking soda;
- slightly less than a liter of warm water.
This simple mixture will help freshen up the kitchen - cleaning various surfaces and even the inside of the refrigerator. To remove odors from the trash can and sink drain, or bath, you can only take soda and pour it straight from the box, and rinse the rest with water.
If you need to clean something stainless steel, it is better to mix the ingredients until a paste, use a damp a rag and gently rub the mixture in the direction of the metal texture, then immediately rinse with water and allow the surface to dry.

3. Cleaner for windows and mirrors
What you need:
- 2 glasses of water;
- ½ cup white or apple cider vinegar
- ¼ a glass of rubbing alcohol (70% solution);
- 1-2 drops of orange essential oil (optional).
Mix all the ingredients and pour the mixture into a container with a spray bottle. This product should not be used on a hot and sunny day - it will dry out too quickly and leave streaks on the windows.
To wipe down the mirrors, dab some of the product on a paper towel or soft rag and wipe the surface.

4. Copper cleaner
What you need:
- white vinegar or lemon juice;
- salt.
Dip a sponge in white vinegar or lemon juice, squeeze lightly and sprinkle with a pinch of salt on top. Rub the copper surfaces gently. Then rinse with water and go over the top with a clean, soft cloth.
5. Remedy for stains on clothes
What you need:
- dishwashing liquid;
- hydrogen peroxide (3% solution);
- baking soda.
Combine dishwashing detergent with hydrogen peroxide in a 1: 2 ratio. Then add baking soda and stir to make a paste. Apply this gruel to the stain on both sides, leave it for an hour, and then wash thing in the typewriter as usual.
6. Marble cleaner
What you need:
- 2 drops of mild liquid dishwashing liquid
- 2 glasses of warm water.
Combine the ingredients, soak a sponge in the resulting solution, and scrub the marble surfaces. Then rinse them with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
You should not use products with vinegar, lemon or any other acidic cleaners - they will eat into marble and even granite and spoil them.
