Miscellaneous / / November 11, 2021
There are many questions to the schedule, but a feeling of nostalgia is provided.
Rockstar released HD remasters GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. The collection, called Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, is already available on consoles and PC:
- PlayStation Store — 4639 rubles
- Microsoft Store — $ 59.99
- Rockstar Store — 4279 rubles
- Nintendo eShop — 5399 rubles
Some users managed to play even before the official start, and someone carefully studied the improvements in gameplay videos, so there are already a lot of reviews on the Web. Here are some opinions on the new products.
Okay, I think I really like the look of the new GTA Remastered trilogy. I agree that it doesn't sound like AAA, but I just love this cartoonish style, even (especially) its plasticity. If GTA V looked like this, I would play more.
GTA III
I don't care what people say. Playing 4K 60 FPS is a whole new experience compared to the original. I feel like a little child again. This version is good! Try first, judge later.
GTA: Vice City
Despite the obvious playful patterns, the new style looks good. I know some people have complained about this, but Vice City does look good in the style they used.
Vice City is a little buggy on Xbox Series X.
Played for about 10-15 minutes in GTA TDE Vice City and honestly... it was the worst marketing done for a remaster, which is actually not bad at all. It can never replace the original, but this version of Vice City looks really nice.
GTA: San Andreas
Obviously, you can see Mount Chiliad [near the left border of the map] from Grove Street, as there is no fog in the game.
Whatever you say about character models, the environment has undergone significant improvements.
You can get to know the remasters better before buying with the help of videos from other players, for example, this three-hour video.
