Sales of the AYYA T1 smartphone from Rostec began in Russia

In Russia, sales of the AYYA T1 smartphone, developed by the Smartecosystem company, which is part of the state corporation Rostec, have begun. The device is designed for confidential communication, which is why the creators call it "trustfon". About it writes Kommersant.
As a key feature of AYYA T1, the blocking of the camera and microphone is mentioned. As conceived by the developers, this should protect the user from collecting data.
So far, AYYA T1 runs on Android 11, but later it is going to be transferred to the Russian system. Similarly, with the processor - now inside the MediaTek Helio P70 from Taiwanese TSMC, but in the future the manufacturer hopes to switch to domestic components. At the moment, from the Russian in the phone, only the software that is necessary preset according to law.
Other characteristics of AYYA T1:

In retail, the price of the novelty was 18 999 rubles. The device went on sale at M.Video-Eldorado. Its launch to the market is an attempt to study demand and identify possible problems before offering the device to the corporate segment and government customers, which it is focused on.
