Young potatoes in a creamy sauce with dill and green onions are incredibly tasty and aromatic. It will be a great side dish or main course.
Boil the young potatoes until tender, about 20-25 minutes. Drain all the water and return the pan to the heat for an additional 1 minute so that no liquid remains at the bottom. Leave under the lid.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add flour and stir. Pour in the cream and stir again. Make sure that there are no lumps left.
Pour milk into the same saucepan in a thin stream, continuing to stir. After boiling, stirring occasionally, simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Pour the sauce over the potatoes, sprinkle with chopped herbs, mix well and serve immediately.
