Dumplings casserole is a quick and easy dish. Try it with aromatic tomato sauce and your favorite hard cheese.

Ingredients
- Onion 1 piece
- Vegetable oil 5 tbsp. spoons
- Garlic 1 clove
- Tomatoes in their own juice 450 g
- Tomato juice 240 ml
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Dried Italian Herb Blend 1 tsp the spoon
- Frozen dumplings 500 g
- Grated cheese 80 g

Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Chop a medium-sized onion as small as possible and save it over medium heat in a large amount of heated oil, along with a puréed garlic clove.
Tomato sauce can be cooked in advance in your free time and frozen or canned, and then used in your favorite dishes.

After 2 minutes, add to the frying the pulp of the tomatoes in their own juice without the skin and the glass of juice in which they were floating.
Canned tomatoes can be replaced with fresh ones.
Heat the sauce until the tomatoes are mashed, season with salt, sugar and freshly ground pepper, add the Italian herbs.

Pour about ⅔ of the finished sauce into any baking dish. Spread half of the frozen dumplings on top, sprinkle with a handful of cheese.
How to choose dumplings
Now fill everything with the remaining sauce, dip the dumplings in it and sprinkle with the cheese again.

Cover the casserole dish with foil and cook at 180 ° C for 25-30 minutes, then remove the foil and cook for another 12-15 minutes.
