Apricot jam with walnuts

Apricot jam is even tastier if you add walnuts to it. This preparation will definitely delight you during your winter tea.

Ingredients
- Apricots 1 kg (pitted weight)
- Sugar 1 kg
- Walnuts 150-200 g
Cooking method
Remove the pits from the apricots. Put the fruits in a saucepan, cover with sugar and stir gently. Leave it for an hour and a half for the fruit to release its juice.
Add large pieces of nuts. Make sure there is no shell left.
Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
Remove the jam from heat and let sit for 15 minutes. Boil again and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes, then boil again for 5 minutes after boiling.
