Aromatic chicken goulash with paprika and caraway seeds

The rich taste and aroma of chicken goulash is given not only by the abundance of spices, but also by the original mixture of garlic and lemon peel.

Ingredients
- Fillet of chicken thighs 650-700 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Olive oil 2 tbsp spoons
- Onions 4-5 pieces
- Ground paprika ½ tbsp. spoons
- Ground sweet paprika 1½ – 2 tbsp. spoons
- Water 500-600 ml
- Tomato paste 1 tbsp a spoon
- Lemon 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Cumin 1 tsp a spoon
Cooking method

Cut the fillet into small pieces. Place in a bowl, stir in salt, black pepper and a spoonful of oil.
You can also use turkey for this dish.
Heat the remaining oil in a heavy saucepan. Cut the onion into halves and fry until transparent, do not brown too much.
Add the fillets to the same saucepan and cook until lightly browned. Stir occasionally.
Sprinkle paprika on the chicken. Stir well to cover all the pieces. Pour in water, lightly salt and pepper, add tomato paste.
Place the lid on the pot and simmer the goulash for about 30–35 minutes.
Chop the lemon zest and garlic. Mix with salt and caraway seeds.
When the chicken is tender, add the garlic mixture. Increase heat and cook for a few more minutes.
