Microsoft made Xbox games available in browsers
Miscellaneous / / July 31, 2021
True, not yet in Russia.
Microsoft is officially announced about launching the xCloud service on Windows 10 computers, as well as Apple tablets and smartphones. The xCloud project (aka Microsoft Cloud Gaming) allows you to play hundreds of games from the Game Pass library directly from your PC or mobile device browser.
On Windows 10, you can play through Chrome or Edge, on iPhone and iPad through Safari. The service provides users with remote access to the custom version Xbox series x - on which, in fact, the games are launched, while the broadcast is going through the browser.
To use xCloud, you will need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. If you have previously started the Conditional Doom on the console, you can continue from the same place through the cloud. On mobile devices, you can play both using touch controls and with controllers - including mobile ones like Razer Kishi.
So far, the service has only been launched in 22 countries, Russia in they are not included. The list of regions will gradually expand, but there are no approximate dates for the Russian release yet.
