Ingredients
- Strawberries 12 pieces
- Kiwi 2 pieces
- Orange 1 piece
- Cream 33% 240 ml
- Sugar 5 tsp spoons
- Toast bread 4 slices
- Rum 1 tsp the spoon
Cooking method
-
Remove the stems from the strawberries. Peel the kiwi and cut off the tips of the fruit. Peel the orange.
Other brightly colored fruits and berries can be used for the sandwiches, if desired.
Slice the kiwi into thick slices. If desired, disassemble the orange into slices and peel them from the film.
Blot the fruit with a paper towel to remove moisture.
Begin whipping the cold cream at the low speed of the mixer.
When bubbles appear on the surface of the cream, add sugar to them and pour in rum if desired.
Whisk the cream until thick, strong foam on high mixer speed.
-
Brush each slice of bread with whipped cream. Divide the fruit in half of the slices.
When assembling the sandwich, consider how the fruit will look when cut. Consider their location in advance.
Fill the gaps between the fruits with cream. Cover the slices with the remaining bread.
Wrap the sandwiches tightly with cling film, lightly press down with a plate and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Cut the crust off the chilled sandwich and cut it diagonally so the fruit can be seen clearly in the cut.
