Learn how to chill drinks faster, freshen up yourself and relax on the beach.
1. Make a "refrigerant" from available tools
To do this, wet a few sponges and put them in the freezer for a couple of hours. When they are frozen, put them in zip bags and use them to keep the temperature in the cooler bag cooler longer and cool the water bottles or ice cream. Or to apply in the heat to hot parts of the body: forehead, neck, shoulders.
2. Use a wet towel to chill your drink quickly
Disposable towels or napkins are best. Dampen them with water, wrap a bottle of soda, beer or wine and place the entire structure for 15 minutes in fridge, or better - in the freezer. Evaporating moisture will speed up the cooling process.
3. Use ice and salt to cool the drink even faster.
Place ice cubes in a bowl (the more the better), pour in some water and add a tablespoon of salt there. Dip the can or bottle of drink so that it is completely hidden under the mixture, and mix it all with a spoon several times.
Because of the salt, the temperature becomes lower, and the solution more intensively takes heat away from the can. A couple of minutes is enough for the drink to cool by a dozen degrees.
4. Turn a fan into an air conditioner
This can be done with ice. Place the cubes in a large bowl and place in front of the worker. fan. The air will pass through the ice and cool slightly.
Instead of a bowl, a large plastic bottle of frozen water will work.
5. Cool the cabin with the car door
Lower the glass on the passenger side, and then open the driver's door and start swinging it quickly, forcing air to the salon. After a couple of minutes, it will become cooler and you can drive.
6. Make a cold water thermos from a bottle
Fill it up a third with clean filtered water, then put it in the freezer. The bottle should just lie, and not stand - so that the liquid spreads along the wall from the neck to the bottom.
After a couple of hours, you can pour water, juice, iced tea or coffee into the bottle. The ice on the wall will slowly melt, evenly cooling the entire volume.
7. Put body lotion in the refrigerator
Apply it to your skin several times a day. This will help a little cool off.
You can also keep other products in the refrigerator: face cream and toner, fabric and reusable face masks (with gel or gel balls), hydrogel patches for the skin around the eyes. It will be very pleasant to use chilled food on a hot day.
8. Send pillowcases to the freezer
Do this an hour before bed, so they will stay cool longer and make the sweltering night a little more comfortable. If the size of the freezer allows it, you can send the whole pillow there.
9. Make an ice cream lolly holder
This protection is especially useful for children who can get dirty from head to toe. To prevent this from happening, take a small paper cup, punch a hole in the bottom and insert a popsicle or popsicle. It is better to cut the sides of the glass so that only a small "saucer" remains, where the melted ice cream will flow.
Instead of a cup, you can use corrugated paper baskets for sweets and muffins or plain foil.
10. Hide the little things you need from beach thieves
To do this, make a case out of a bottle or tube of sunscreen. Cut the empty packaging across just below the neck and wash thoroughly.
When you go to the beach, put your keys and other little things in the case that you don't want to leave in sight. Align the halves so that the bottle looks whole, and no one will suspect what is inside.
Of course, such a disguise is not a reason to take expensive gadgets and large sums of money with you to the beach. Count exactly as much cash as you need for travel, drinks and snacks. If possible, do not leave your smartphone unattended or acquire budget model, with which it will not be a pity to say goodbye.
11. Use an elasticated sheet as a beach mat
Stretch it on the sand, raise the sides, fix them in the raised state with bags, bags and other things. You will end up with something like an empty pool - a space into which sand will fall much less.
12. Use baby powder to shake off wet sand
Just sprinkle it on your feet, hands or other body parts. The powder will quickly absorb moisture - and you can shake it off along with the grains of sand.
