Google introduced an affordable smartphone Pixel 4A

Google has officially unveiled its new Pixel 4A smartphone. This is a relatively compact and affordable solution for those who are not chasing top-end hardware.

The smartphone received a 5.81-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and a hole in the corner for an 8MP selfie camera. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display. The body is made of polycarbonate, the rear is a fingerprint scanner.

Responsible for the performance of the device is the Snapdragon 730 processor, complemented by 6 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 128 GB of internal memory. Battery - 3,140mAh with 18W fast charging via USB-C. There is also a standard audio port and stereo speakers.

The main camera is single, with a 12.2 megapixel sensor, Dual Pixel technology, optical and electronic stabilization (OIS + EIS) and the ability to record video in 4K format at 30 fps or FullHD at 120 k / sec. All proprietary features are supported: Super Res Zoom, Live HDR + and Night Sight.

Among the communications announced: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, LTE and NFC. The smartphone is running pure Android 10. Google promises to update the system and send security patches within three years of the release of the new item.

The smartphone costs 349 dollars (≈25,700 rubles). Sales will start on August 20. First, the smartphone will appear in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Japan and Canada.
