Mateo has released a smart bath mat

At CES 2020, which is now taking place in the United States, Mateo presented an unusual gadget - a bath mat with built-in scales and sensors that allow you to monitor the state of the body. The device quickly reads your weight, muscle and fat mass, water balance, and how straight you are standing. It can even detect problems with posture and gait.

Importantly, in the iOS / Android application you can not only track your indicators in the form of tables and charts, but also receive advice for correcting weight, posture, dehydration and other possible problems with the body. According to the manufacturer, all data is stored locally to maintain complete privacy of users.

The device operates either from two blocks of three AAA batteries, or from two 5000 mAh batteries. In both cases, they promise about 6 months of battery life.

Funds for the production of Mateo will begin to be raised in February through crowdfunding. For $ 179 (≈11,060 rubles), you will receive not only the device itself, but also two replacement covers for it.
