Fried fish - tilapia, cod or pike perch are best - it turns out soft and juicy. And very tasty, especially when served with vegetables and sauces.
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and spices. Beat eggs with beer.
You can use water instead of beer.
Pour the crackers into a zip-lock bag. A regular bag will work, but you will need to hold it on top so that nothing wakes up.
Cut the fish into small pieces. Dip each bite in flour, dip in eggs and let the excess drain.
If using frozen fillet, let it thaw first.
Put a few pieces of fish in a bag with breadcrumbs and shake well. Repeat the same for the remaining fillets.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the fish for 5-7 minutes on each side, until it is well browned.
