Soup with meatballs and mushrooms

Ingredients
- Rice 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Potatoes 3-4 pieces
- Water 2¹⁄₂ l
- Minced meat 300 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Carrots 1 piece
- Champignons 6-7 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Vegetable oil 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Greens to taste

Boil the rice until cooked in about 20 minutes, then cool.

Cut the potatoes into small pieces, put in a saucepan, cover with water and put on medium heat.
Instead of water, you can use meat or vegetable broth. So the taste will be richer.

Mix the minced meat with rice, salt and pepper and form meatballs no larger than a walnut.
Use whatever minced meat you like.
To prevent the meat from sticking to your hands, moisten them with water.
Cut carrots into small pieces or grate on a coarse grater.
When the water in the pot with potatoes boils, put the carrots, and after 10 minutes the meatballs and mushrooms, not coarsely chopped.
Cook for another 15 minutes or longer, until the potatoes are soft enough.
Cut the onion into small pieces and brown in a skillet with butter for 5-7 minutes.
Add the onion, salt and pepper to the soup 5 minutes before cooking. Sprinkle with herbs and leave covered for 10-15 minutes.
