These lean cabbage soup is cooked not in meat broth, as classic ones, but in water. But they turn out to be no less aromatic, satisfying and tasty.
Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Finely chop the cabbage, cut the potatoes into pieces.
Dip vegetables in water and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
In the meantime, cut the tomatoes into cubes. Grate the carrots. Chop the onion.
Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Then add tomatoes, tomato paste to it and simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
Put vegetable frying, lavrushka, salt and pepper into a saucepan.
Cook for another 10-15 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
Chop the garlic finely and add it to the cabbage soup at the end of cooking.
